Getting XML using MS Health Vault object mode

Jul 26, 2011 at 2:31 PM

I need to figure out the way to get all the records in a one file from MS Health Vault which include all medication, allergy, problem, conditions, insurance and so on. So in other words I need to find out the way to get one XML file (i.e. CCR) using MS HealthValut object model or object methods with all the data in it. Currently while entering a patientID and recordID I am getting only one attribute.

It would be great if someone could help me out in this.

If you want items in a ccr can you use:

Request request = new Request();
request.setFinalXsl("toccr");

Look at the GetThingToCCR() unit test.

You will need to specify all the ThingType ids you are interested in.  There is not a way to specify ALL.

If you export to ccr you will get one thing and it could be quite large.

You can retrieve everything as HealthVault native types and will need to be careful how many thing instances you request.  You may get so many that you run out of memory.  It is up to you to set how many Things you want at a time.  The remainder are returned only as ids.  You can use those ids to obtain the rest of the list.
