Building new JAR files with Release 1.2

Mar 17, 2011 at 3:05 AM

Rob,

I just downloaded the release and tried to build it locally here. The run from sdk folder works fine and the hv-sdk-1.2.jar gets created. I am also able to create an eclipse project for the SDK. However, I am not able to build the JAX-B jar files. I get an error - informing me the dependent files are missing. I used to be able to run the mvn install, package from the root extraction folder itself.

But that fails with the failure to find ui-jaxb (parent.relativePath points at wrong local POM @ line 10, column11) for both hv:weight-jaxb-ui and hv:ui-sdk projects.

Do you think you could check on this soon?

Thanks.

What OS, and maven version are you using?

Everything builds fine for me with maven 2.2.1 on Mac, maven 2.2.0 on linux, and maven 2.2.1 on windows.

Interestingly enough it builds with maven 3.0.3 on linux too.  It complained a little but was successful.

I should put binaries on the download page for folks who cannot build.

Hi Rob,

I was building it on Windows 7, MVN 3.0.2. I will try the newer version of mvn and will let you know. However, I was able to build this using eclipse using the source code directly. So i am set for now :).

Thanks
